I love your writing and these updates are great. I have to take issue with the opening para graph though - software changes the world at least as much as hard tech and does at least as much good. Not least because it is the essential wiring that enables better communication and collaboration. Without these nothing else is possible.
At one level none of that matters. I have spent a fair bit of time in the digital health area (in the UK) over the past few years. A systemic bias toward hard tech that cures diseases over software is gradually killing our healthcare system.
Good pushback kenny! I think software plays a crucial role in things, but I would argue that our overfocus in this area is partially to blame for the slowdown in productivity over the last 30 years. I would take 10 useful robots in my life versus 100 useful software applications. Still, that is fair to say I came on to strong. Take it more about my excitement about these new products versus my dismissal of the previous generation.
